Western Australia has over 200 members affiliated with one of four active branches; Mid-West, Central, South West and Great Southern. Our horses are used across an array of disciplines including dressage, showjumping, eventing, campdrafting, polocrosse, pony club, endurance & showing.

ASH run events are run at both state and branch level with additional events being run in conjunction with breed shows, agricultural shows and some campdrafts.

Meet Your Statement Management Council Office Bearers

Sally Lang

WA State Chair

 

Sally is a member of Central Branch and new to this position. She enjoys attending events and competing where possible on one of her several stock horses.

Graeme Frusher

Vice President

Graeme has been involved in the stock horse society for many years, serving at both state and branch level. Graeme, along with his family breed ASH's through Cunnamore Australian Stock Horse Stud on their property at Narrikup.

Helen Price

State Secretary

Helen is a tireless workhorse who is integral to the society and who no doubt many of you receive countless information emails from. Helen also enjoys riding and competing where she can.

Alison Spencer

State Treasurer

Alison has been in this position for a good number of years and does an absolutely sterling job. Her commitment is unbelievable, especially given the distance she must travel from her home at Newdegate.

Lance Butcher

WA State Director

Lance is a long standing and dedicated member of the society who has been elected onto the ASHS Board of Directors. Lance acts as a representative for our WA membership base. When Lance is not tending to official stock horse business you can find him competing one of his stock horses, speaking with members or driving around the DEC with a rake behind his vehicle.
